Ind-Swift Lab's new research unit may be operational by Sept

Mumbai , July 18

THE Chandigarh-based Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd expects its new research centre at Mohali to be operational by September, a company official said.

The new centre will facilitate the development of processes that do not flout existing patents, besides looking at preparing drug masterfiles or documents that facilitate entry into the regulated markets.

The company also plans to increase its research strength from 85 scientists to 150 by 2006, the official said.
