KOCHI: Tata Motors, as part of its ongoing dealership network expansion plans, has announced the opening of its 130th car dealership in the country with the inauguration R F Motors at Kochi.

This is the 4th car dealership in the State and 30th in the southern region, Mr Rajiv Dube, Senior Vice-President (Commercial, Passenger Business Unit), said. With the introduction of Kochi outlet, the customers of Tata Passenger vehicles in and around the city could now look forward to increased options and choice, he said at a press meet.

The 51,400 sq feet modern facility comprises a showroom and modern workshop equipped with ultra modern tools, machineries and equipment manned by qualified experienced and trained personnel.

The company's domestic car sale of passenger vehicles had witnessed a 25.7 per cent growth at 189,975 vehicles in 2004-05. Tata Motors is the second largest passenger vehicle player in the domestic market with a share of 16.9 per cent.
