Public-private partnerships

The Government's move to relax rules in the preparation of conventional warfare materials is welcome. A leading private corporate has been roped in to build a multi-rocket launcher system for the Indian Army.

If the Centre strikes more such deals, then public-private partnerships will bring in efficiency and put domestic resources to best possible use.
