Wadiyar's airline to be launched in 8 months

THE scion of Mysore's erstwhile royal family and former MP, Mr Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, has said his new airline, `Palace on air' will be launched, in 8-10 months.

It would be financed by friends in Hong Kong and Dubai along with a small investment by him, he , told newspersons here.

The airline would neither be a budget nor expensive one, but would focus on providing affordable royal comfort for common passengers. He plans to wet lease two aircraft to begin with.

The airline will be professionally managed and initially link prominent southern cities, and also Mumbai and Delhi.
