Career guidance programme in Mangalore

CORPORATION Bank and Expert Education and Charitable Foundation of Mangalore organised a career guidance programme in Mangalore on Saturday.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr V.K. Chopra, who inaugurated the programme, handed over Corp Vidya Education Loan sanction letters to 27 eligible candidates on the occasion.

Mr Chopra said that the loan scheme enables the student to pursue higher education. Under Corp Vidya, students desirous of pursuing higher education can avail of loan up to Rs 7.50 lakh for studying in India, and up to Rs15 lakh for studying abroad.

He said that the bank is committed to contributing to the development and nation-building activities, including enhancing the literacy level and shaping the children for future.

Mr K. Achutha Pai, General Manager of the bank, welcomed the gathering.
