Taneja Aerospace to raise $10 m

BANGALORE: Taneja Aerospace and Aviation Ltd plans to raise $10 million (Rs 43 crore) from overseas markets.

The proposal to raise funds overseas will come up before an extraordinary general meeting on August 1, the company said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Taneja Aerospace is considering placement of its shares in one or more foreign markets through global depository receipts, private placements or a combination of both. The placement will be in one or more tranches, at a discount or premium to the market price at the time of issue, the company said.

The amount will be raised from foreign banks, financial institutions, foreign institutional investors , mutual funds, companies, corporate bodies, NRIs, foreign nationals and other eligible investors.

The EGM will also consider an alteration of the articles of association of the company.
