Mega Foods launches American dry peas

Hyderabad , July 27

MEGA Foods Brands, a Hyderabad-based company, has become the second Indian company after Nilgiri's to launch American dry peas in retail packs approved by the United States of America Dry Peas and Lentil Council (USADPLC).

Launching the Sunny Fresh peas here on Wednesday, Mr Venkat Raman, Managing Partner of Mega Food Brands, said the council had permitted the company to use its seal on packs, as it was satisfied with the quality of the product.
