Insurance cover for IOB depositors

Chennai , July 27

INDIAN Overseas Bank has launched a scheme to provide life insurance cover to holders of savings and current accounts for a `nominal premium.'

The cover is made available under a group insurance arrangement with LIC.

"Besides life, the scheme also provides a personal accident insurance cover for a sum of Rs 1 lakh," says a press release from the bank.
