Megasoft back in black

MEGASOFT Group, the Chennai-based technology firm, has reported a net profit of Rs 4.63 crore on revenues of Rs 26.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, against a loss of Rs 12.28 crore on revenues of Rs 19.34 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Personnel cost was Rs 17.15 crore (Rs 14.97 crore) and operating expenses were Rs 3.71 crore (Rs 2.94 crore).

The group's Indian operations, Megasoft Ltd, reported a net profit of Rs 2.44 crore on revenues of Rs 9.90 crore for the quarter ended June 2005, compared to a loss of Rs 9.98 crore on revenues of Rs 5.54 crore for the previous year quarter.
