Petroleum Gulf Oil Q1 net up 12 pc Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Aug 1 GULF Oil Corporation Ltd, a Hinduja group company, has reported 12 per cent increase in net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal ended June at Rs 7.1 crore against Rs 6.34 crore in the corresponding previous quarter. According to the financial results announced by the company, total turnover for the quarter improved by 8.5 per cent to Rs 105.76 crore (Rs 97.47 crore). The company recorded a growth of 15.3 per cent in operating profit during the quarter under review at Rs 8.05 crore (Rs 6.98 crore). The annualised EPS for quarter stood at Rs 20.48 (Rs 14.44). The lubricants division posted a lower turnover of Rs 52.28 crore during the period (Rs 55.56 crore). The explosives division reported a higher turnover of Rs 32.91 crore (Rs 31.27 crore).
