Supreme Alloys ties up with US co for TMT rebars

SUPREME Alloys, a Ghaziabad-based company, has tied up with US-based SAL Tempcore Inc for manufacture of rib enforcement thermal mechanical treatment (TMT) rebars for the construction industry.

A plant has been set up in Ghaziabad in technical collaboration with SAL Tempcore for manufacture of the rebars. The product to be named TMTSAL will be manufactured in a high speed process controlled by micro-processors for uniform soaking and heating. The unit has a production capacity of 45,000 tonnes per month.

TMT rebars, mostly used by the construction industry, is known to save over 15 per cent of steel during construction because of its strength and quality.

Supreme Alloys provides technical consultancy in India and abroad, supplies plant on turnkey basis to overseas customers and deals in engineering castings, TMT and wire rod bars.
