Cisco training for channel partners

Our Bureau

Bangalore , Aug. 3

CISCO Systems has launched Pulse, a countrywide programme to facilitate uniform learning and growth in advanced technologies for its channel partner community.

A focused technology training initiative conducted by Cisco system engineers, Pulse covers pre-sales and sales modules and is delivered to partners on a monthly cycle across the country.

Mr Shirish Joshi, Vice-President - Channels, Cisco Systems (India & SAARC), said, "With an increasing number of client sites deploying advanced technology solutions such as IP-Tel and Wireless WAN, it is imperative that our channel partners are appropriately equipped to service customers' needs. With a rapid pace at which technology is changing and with the newer solutions Cisco would be going to market with, it was important to keep partners updated. The Pulse program initiative was aimed at achieving this in both metro and non-metro locations, and would be executed over the next year. The training would be conducted in batches of 20 people, thus ensuring individual attention by quality trained professionals."
