Tukaram works now on the Net

PUNE: Teachings of Maharashtra's 17th century poet-saint Tukaram will now be available on the multi-lingual Web site www.tukaram.com.

The site is currently available in Marathi, Hindi and English. It has translations of Tukaram's works in Bengali by poet Rabindranath Tagore; Hindi by Dr Anandprakash Dixit and Shriram Shikarkhane; French by Guy Poitevin, German by Mr Dilip Chitre and Lothar Lutze, Russian by Irina Glushkova; and Spanish by Elsa Cross among others.

The multi-lingual Web site is dedicated to Tukaram scholar late barrister Babaji Ganesh Paranjape.
