Power NHPC Q1 net up 2.5 pc Our Bureau
New Delhi , Aug. 8 THE National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd on Monday reported a 2.5 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 190.81 crore during the first quarter this fiscal, up from Rs 186.19 crore in the year-ago period. Sales grew 12.35 per cent to Rs 591.29 crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2005 from Rs 526.27 crore in April-June 2004, an NHPC release said.
