Amtex facility in Chennai

CHENNAI: Amtex Systems Inc, a US-based IT consulting and services company, is setting up a development centre in Chennai. The new facility will employ over 350 people and increase it to 1,000 over the next two years. The company plans to invest more than Rs 100 crore over the next two years in India, says a company press release.

Amtex consults and services leading companies, including Fortune 500 companies such as JP Morgan, Pfizer, Intel, IBM, Johnson & Johnson and Merrill Lynch. It employs more than 600 IT professionals globally and has 12 offices operating across six countries, earning revenues of over $50 million in the current fiscal, the release says.
