NEW DELHI: Punjab National Bank Institute of Information Technology (PNBIIT), which imparts training in the field of banking technology to banks and financial institutions, and global networking major Cisco Systems today announced a tie-up to offer Cisco's networking education curriculum to students.

"Cisco will provide the networking course curriculum and comprehensive training, assessment, and technical support to PNBIIT," a release said.

PNBIIT would offer the Cisco Certified Networking Associate curriculum to its own banking students and professionals from other banks.

It will also offer the curriculum to college students and other IT professionals in Lucknow.

In the next few months, PNBIIT plans to strengthen its Cisco networking curriculum offering by introducing the specialised Cisco Security and Cisco Wireless courses, the release added.
