THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising a meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday to spread awareness about the initiative to create rural business hubs across the country. The meeting, which will be held at the Mascot hotel in the city, is also intended to generate ideas to facilitate the successful implementation of the rural business hubs initiative in Kerala, said a CII press release. The concept aims to revitalise the rural economy by creating rural business hubs through a public-private-panchayat partnership. Ms Sudha Pillai, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India will participate in the meeting and lead the discussions, the release adds.
