AP package for sugar factories

HYDERABAD: To revive ailing sugar factories in Andhra Pradesh, the State Government has directed officials of the Finance Department to release Rs 17.5 crore.

At a meeting here on Monday, the Chief Minister, Dr Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, reviewed the financial health of cooperative sugar factories and directed the officials to release the said amount to revive Kadapa, Kovur, Nizamabad and other factories.
