BANGAlORE: Akamai Technologies, Inc, a global service provider for accelerating content and business processes online, has appointed Mr Sanjay Singh as the Managing Director of its Indian subsidiary.

Mr Singh will lead Akamai's Indian operations and further establish awareness for Akamai's Internet content delivery and application acceleration services, said a company press release. Mr Singh, who has been with the company for over six years, will also act as Akamai's Vice-President, Global Account Management.
