According to a press release, Soumitra Bhattacharyya, the current Chief Operating Officer of MOMS, has been given additional responsibility of the MRP unit. He is now designated Chief Executive Officer of both units while Arunangsu Ghosh, the current COO of MRP, has been designated COO of MOMS as well. The OOH unit is present in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Kolkata with clients that include HBO, McDonald's, Asian Paints, Pizza Hut, Max New York Life, Titan, Aviva, ESPN, Kotak Group, Tata Chemicals and Marico. MRP, the new avatar of Madison's merchandising unit, was branded as a retail specialist in October last year and has worked on brands such as BenQ, Logitech, Motorola and Wella India. According to Sam Balsara, Chairman and Managing Director of Madison Communications, "Our retail design unit has been able to provide very useful inputs to MOMS in the area of OOH solutions and clients have found this input invaluable in enriching the overall quality of plan and execution. The new structure institutionalises what has worked informally for some time." The restructuring will help achieve the aggressive growth targets of both units, adds the press release.
