Dabur extends brand Honitus to lozenges

New Delhi , Aug. 10

DABUR India Ltd on Wednesday announced the extension of its `Honitus' brand of cough syrup, with the launch of a `cough drop' in the same name. With this, Dabur would mark its entry into the large size lozenges segment within the cough and cold category.

The lozenge is being launched in three flavours — lemon, menthol and ginger. The lozenges would be available across the country in the next 15 days and each lozenge would be priced at Re 1.

"We wanted to expand the Honitus franchise in other large and growing segments within the cough and cold category and lozenges offered a good opportunity for this extension," said Mr Dilip Bhujbal, Senior General Manager (Sales and Marketing), Consumer Health Business, Dabur India Ltd.
