VISAKHAPATNAM: MRF plans to open ten more showrooms by the end of September in the coastal districts to increase its market share and improve service to customers, according to Mr. K. Ashok, district manager.

He was speaking here at Santipuram after opening an exclusive showroom on Wednesday morning.

Mr Ashok said the company was the number one in tyre sales with an annual turnover of Rs 3,000 crore.

Efforts will be made to raise it to Rs 4,000 crore by the end of the financial year.

Mr Ashok, in charge of the coastal districts, said the company had three tyre re-treading units in the coastal districts at Nellore, Khammam and Visakhapatnam.

"Three more will be set up - one at Vijayawada and the second at Rajahmundry. The third place is yet to be decided," he said.
