BANGALORE: BT has announced the launch of Microsoft Live Meeting, a Web conferencing product that enables users to stage live, interactive and large-scale event-type conference calls as well as smaller, collaborative meetings in Asia Pacific markets.

BT recently implemented an expansion of its conferencing solution in Asia-Pacific, resulting in the company's extensive range of local, PSTN and toll-free access points for customers in the region. As part of the expansion, new conference switches have been installed in Tokyo and Hong Kong, while the upgraded solution allows customers local access to conference calls from 33 global locations without incurring any IDD charges.
