Sugar technologists to meet in Hyderabad

Hyderabad , Aug. 11

MR Sharad Pawar, Union Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, will inaugurate the eighth joint annual convention of sugar technologists here on August 13.

The three-day conference is being organised by the Sugar Technologists' Association of India, Deccan Sugar Technologists' Association - India and the South Indian Sugar and Sugar Technologists' Association.

Simultaneously, the Sugar Expo-2005 would be held where 36 exhibitors would showcase their products and services.

Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, and Dr J Geetha Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Sugar, Tourism and Heavy Industries, would also address the inaugural.
