Kite festival

A King Cobra-shaped kite takes off at the Jakkur airfield on the occasion of second National Kite flying festival organised by the Kite Clinic Club in Bangalore on Saturday.

This kite, built by 43-year-old Ashok H. Shah from Maharashtra, is 70 ft long and weighs four-and-a-half kg, and is made out of Ripstop Nylon cloth (which is used in parachute).
