New Products & Services LG unveils new range Our Bureau
KOCHI: LG Electronics India, the Indian arm of South Korean LG Electronics, on Tuesday launched a range of new products in Kerala as part of its Onam festival sales. The company has also targeted a turnover of Rs 305 crore from the State in the current year. "In 2004, our turnover was Rs 195 crore in Kerala. This year we are targeting a 56 per cent growth to Rs 305 crore," said Mr Girish V. Rao, Vice President, Sales, LG Electronics India. He said during the festival season in August and September alone, LG would clock a revenue of Rs 122 crore. Along with the new products, the company has also rolled out a special promotional scheme that promises assured gifts on every purchase of an LG product. The company is also opening six exclusive brand shops in Kerala, Mr Rao said at a press conference here. LG has set aside Rs 7 crore for marketing campaigns during the Onam season. The new products that LG launched include a DTH-enabled television, which does away with the need to buy a set-top box for accessing free DTH channels, a super slim TV and a new range of semi frost-free refrigerators.
