Seminar on TDS

HYDERABAD: The Income Tax Department will hold a three-day seminar on Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) at the Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Institute of HRD from August 17.

The seminar would explain the importance of TDS and its recent amendments. The Special Chief Secretary to AP Government, Mr P.K. Diwan, will inaugurate the seminar.

In a press release, the IT Department said recent changes were expected to step up realisation of revenue through voluntary compliance.
