The Hindu Business Line : RM Education bags British certification

RM Education Solutions India Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of the UK-based education services provider RM Plc, has received the BS 7799-2:2002 certification.

According to a company press release, this certification is a British standard for information security management systems. RM Education was awarded the certification after an audit by KPMG on behalf of the Netherlands-based RvA, which is the certification body for the standard. The BS 7799-2:2002 standard lays out a set of controls to ensure information security, and help identify and minimise threats that a company's information systems confront.
