HCL Info posts 30-pc rise in net

IT major HCL Infosystems on Thursday reported a 30-per cent increase in net profit for the fiscal ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 227.7 crore compared to Rs 175.1 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The board of directors also recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per fully paid-up equity share of Rs 2 each for the financial year 2004-05. Revenues grew by 76 per cent during the period to Rs 7,783.6 crore.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 32.43 crore for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2005, compared to Rs 29.67 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year. It has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2197.5 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2005,(Rs 1321.2 crore).

Revenue from the computer systems business was Rs 533.5 crore against Rs 390.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous yearRevenue from the Office Automation and Telecommunication business is Rs 1655.3 crore (Rs 929.8 crore).
