THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) has launched the Keltron-certified Multimedia Expert Course (KCMEC) with a free multimedia computer scheme at its IT Education and Training Centre at Chennai.

Mr D. Jayakumar, Minister for IT and Law, Tamil Nadu, inaugurated the course. Mr V. Ramkumar, Managing Director, Keltron, welcomed the gathering.

Students who enrol for the course over the next two months will be given a multimedia computer free of cost. After completion, they will be able to access the `Knowledge Portal' for five years and thus `stay connected'.
