New Delhi , Aug. 19

LOW-cost airline SpiceJet plans to extend the operation of low fare late night flights to more domestic destinations, the airline promoter, Mr Ajay Singh, has said.

"When the airline gets more aircraft we may start late night flights on other sectors, including Delhi-Bangalore and Delhi-Pune or Delhi-Goa," Mr Singh said. The airline hopes to induct two more Boeing 737 aircraft into its fleet next month.

Earlier this week, the airline launched late night flights between Delhi and Mumbai. The thrice-a-week flight has fares starting at Rs 1,599 for a one-way ticket. The airline is also exploring the possibility of operating the flight on a daily basis.
