BSNL extends automatic trunk booking facility

Our Bureau

Hyderabad , Aug 22

BSNL has extended the automatic trunk booking (ATB) for international trunk exchange (ITX) for seven Telangana districts. This facility will come into force on August 24. The seven districts include Adilabad, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, and Warangal.

Callers from these districts can dial 186 to access the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) of ATB instead of the manual route, a Hyderabad Telecom District release said.

They have the option of interacting in Telugu, Hindi, or English.

After dialling 186, the callers need to enter the six- or seven-digit number (without STD code) from which the customer is booking. The caller is then prompted to enter the ISD code and the phone number.
