Channels and Franchises T.S.Mahalingam opens Club Mahindra franchisee outlet Our Bureau
Chennai , Aug. 22 T.S. MAHALINGAM (TSM) & Sons with business interests in the used car segment and financial services has become a franchisee for Club Mahindra Holiday World with an outlet in Besant Nagar here. Mr K. Mahalingam, Partner and Managing Director, TSM, said that TSM would leverage its distribution skills to sell Club Mahindra Lifetime Holiday memberships in Chennai. This is the third Holiday World outlet in Chennai and the first one to be franchised. Mr Ramesh Ramanathan, Managing Director, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, said the company had four distribution channels - home calls, franchisees, on-site sales and Holiday Worlds. Currently, there were 14 Holiday World outlets. The existing customers refer more than 40 per cent of the new ones, he said. Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, a division of Mahindra and Mahindra, has registered a turnover of Rs 105 crore. Mr Ramanathan said that the company has been growing at a rate of 70 to 80 per cent year on year while the timeshare industry has been growing at 20 per cent every year.
