BANGALORE: Tata Indicom on Tuesday announced its tie-up with BangaloreOne for payment of its bills by customers at BangaloreOne centres spread across the city.

Mr Prabhat Pani, Chief Operating Officer, Tata Teleservices (Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh); Mr Rajeev Chawla, Secretary — E-Governance, Government of Karnataka, and Ms G. Satyavathi, Director - BangaloreOne, inaugurated the service. The tie-up will facilitate an easy mode of bill payment closer to home or work for the customers, Mr Pani said. The centres can accept cash, cheque and credit card payments, and instantly provide a receipt. The service is now available in 14 BangaloreOne centres, and the number will go up to 50 more centres in the next 12 months.

BangaloreOne is an initiative of the Government of Karnataka, engaged in providing citizen services to various organisations and departments.
