Tata Tele to provide communications solution to IIM-C

Kolkata , Aug. 23

TATA Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) and Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL), both operating under the brand name Tata Indicom, today signed a partnership agreement with the Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta (IIM-C), with a view to providing exclusive and customised communications solutions to IIM-C. The telecommunications solutions would be made available in the form of CDMA mobile phone and fixed wireless phone connections.

A press release said TTSL would provide 400 CDMA mobile phone handsets to IIM-C for use by its faculty and staff.
