Cow dung as fuel

This refers to the article "Americans rediscover cow dung as fuel" (Business Line, August 24). What was long ago discovered by our forefathers and woven into the daily existence of our ancestors is now being extolled and `rediscovered' by a super power.

If we recall the history of Basmati, Neem and Turmeric, it won't surprising if one day the story would be `Americans invent cow dung as fuel'! From prior experience, India should patent its discovery of cow dung as fuel without further delay.
