Food products launched

KOCHI: To cash in on the forthcoming Onam season, the Muvattupuzha-based Grandma's Food Products has launched ready to serve food items in the local as well as overseas markets. The food items included traditional Kerala items such as kalan, pulissery, boiled tapioca etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Raju Jacob, Chief Executive of the company said that the company is also introducing ready to serve chicken gravy, fish curry, vegetable gravy etc. The company with a turnover of Rs 10 crore is expected to double the figure with the introduction of new products, he said. It had also bagged the Nehru Peace Foundation Award for the best entrepreneur in the food sector for the year 2004.
