Citigroup Global acquires 1.4 pc more stake in VisualSoft

Hyderabad , Aug. 24

CITIBANK N.A. has informed the National Stock Exchange that Citigroup Global Markets (Mauritius) has acquired 282,473 shares aggregating to 1.4 per cent of the total paid-up capital of VisualSoft Technologies Ltd on August 19.

The mode of acquisition is through secondary market purchases.

Following this development, the shareholding of Citigroup Global Markets (Mauritius) has gone up to 1,158,044 shares aggregating to 5.79 per cent of the total paid-up capital of VisualSoft Technologies Ltd.

Mr V. Krishnan, Chief Financial Officer of VisualSoft, told Business Line that this was an open market transaction.

Along with this, the overall foreign institutional holding in Visualsoft would be around 22 per cent of the total equity.
