Grandix Pharma ties up with Italian co

THE Chennai-based Grandix Pharmaceuticals Ltd has tied up with Chromogenix, Italy - a group company of one of the world's largest diagnostics major Instrumentation Laboratory Inc - to market chromegenic substrates in India.

Grandix will market chromogenic substrates with a portfolio of more than 70 products in the field of coagulation and fibrinolysis throughout India. Chromegenic substrates is used widely in pharma and R&D labs, biotechnology companies, blood banks, clinical laboratories and hospitals.

"We are the first company to import and start supplying chromogenic substrates in India," Dr A. Ramamurthy, Managing Director, Grandix Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has said in a press release. "Earlier R & D labs used to import chromogenic substrates which were procured after a long wait."
