Hero Honda ED Sobti quits

NEW DELHI: After seven-and-half years of association with the country's largest bike maker Hero Honda Motors Ltd, Mr Atul Sobti, the company's Executive Director (business operations), has resigned from the company.

Confirming his resignation, Mr Sobti said that his decision has been conveyed to the Chairman. He said he would be meeting with the company's management next week to decide on the date for his departure from Hero Honda. Prior to being promoted to the position of Executive Director in 2004, Mr Sobti held the position of Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) at the company.
