Micro Labs to market LG eye drug

BANGALORE: Micro Labs Ltd has announced that it has entered into an exclusive marketing agreement with LG Life Sciences of South Korea to market LG Hyal 2000 ophthalmic injections in India.

The formulation is used to minimise complications arising after eye surgeries such as cataract and keratoplasty. It will be promoted through the ophthalmic division, Micro Vision, ranked eighth by ORG-IMS in the eye care segment, Micro said in a release. "Micro Labs is in talks with several international companies for marketing and production tie-ups, which will further fuel growth of the company," Mr Dilip Surana, MD of the Rs 500-crore company, said.
