GE Shipping board to consider restructuring proposal

Mumbai , Aug. 27

THE board of directors of Great Eastern Shipping Company will be meeting on August 31 to consider a proposal to restructure the company's business, a company official said.

The official did not give any details of the proposal. According to sources, GE Shipping proposes to hive off its offshore oil field services division into a separate entity.
