Hyderabad , Aug. 29

INTEGREO Inc, formerly STI Knowledge, has acquired the revenue cycle managed services (RCMS) line of Siemens Medical Solutions.

This is the third healthcare acquisition by Integreo in less than two years and is part of the company's plan to become a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services to healthcare payers and providers, the insurance and corporate sector, and Government and public health agencies.

The Chief Executive Officer of Integreo, Mr Satish Sanan, in a statement said, "Acquiring revenue cycle management services has always been a key strategic initiative for Integreo because it solidifies healthcare BPO services and solutions. With this acquisition, customers will benefit from our services that address challenges faced in the complex healthcare market."

Siemens' RCMS line offers business office services that span the entire healthcare revenue cycle from pre-registration data collection to final payment and collections.

Integreo offers services to over 1,200 customers worldwide. Headquartered in Atlanta, the US, the company employs over 1,000 process-certified professionals. Integreo acquired India-based Symphony Data in February 2005 to provide a blended-shore delivery model for customers and to further strengthen the company's BPO services for healthcare.

Symphony Data, the Indian arm of STI Knowledge, has announced it has now become Integreo. Integreo, with operations in Hyderabad, is headed by Mr Sandeep Madan, former COO of Nipuna.
