The tug delivered by Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Visakhapatnam, to the Vizag Port Trust on Thursday.

Visakhapatnam , Sept. 1

HINDUSTAN Shipyard Ltd (HSL) here delivered a tug built by it to the Visakhapatnam port on Thursday.

According to a statement issued by HSL, M.T Jhansi Rani, a 50-tonne bollard pull tug, was delivered to the VPT in the presence of Mr K. Ratna Kishore, Chairman of the VPT, and Commodore Y. Janardhan, the Director, Technical, HSL.

Jhansi Rani was the fourth tug delivered to the port by the HSL. The tug is of the length of 33.50 metres and breadth of 10 metres. It is fitted with two main engines of Rolls Royce of HP 2420 each and steerable rudder propulsion units (two) of Schottle, Germany.
