Don't politicise Chidambaram issue: SC Bar association

New Delhi , Sept. 1

The Supreme Court Bar Association today "denounced the politicisation of the widely publicised event of Ms Nalini Chidambaram, wife of the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, appearing for the Income-Tax Department," in a statement.

"Now that Ms Nalini Chidambaram has returned the fees received in the matter, this chapter should be given a quietus and the issue put an end to," said Mr P.H. Parikh, President of Supreme Court Bar Association, in a release.
