5 ICICI Bank staff suspended for exceeding trading limits

Mumbai , Sept. 2

FIVE employees of ICICI Bank Ltd including three officers in the treasury department were suspended for over stepping their trading limit thereby causing losses to the bank.

The loss incurred was said to be to the tune of Rs 1 crore.

According to the bank's spokesperson, the incident took place on August 8 and the officers were suspended on the same day. The bank official denied rumours that the employees were involved in insider trading.
