Canada to take part in tech summit

NEW DELHI: Canada is partnering the Department of Science and Technology and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in organising the Eleventh Technology Summit in the Capital. The two-day summit is scheduled to start on September 21.

Canada has an established reputation in research, scientific and innovation in biotechnology and health research, an official statement said. The country is also a significant player in the global information and communications technology industry, it said.

Representatives from Canada would share their expertise in the technology sphere with Indian participants at the summit.
