Euclid to sell ASP division to e4e

Our Bureau

Hyderabad , Sept. 6

EUCLID Inc, a business service management (BSM) solutions provider, has announced that it would sell its ASP (application service provider) services to e4e Inc, a business process company.

The sale provides e4e the ownership of Euclid's entire ASP services infrastructure, operations staff, domain experience and other intellectual property. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

The Director of Operations, Euclid (India), Mr Manoj Tiwari, told Business Line that this move would enable access to about 3,500 employees of e4e and provide a wider footprint in expanding these services. Euclid will continue its main line of offering solutions to customers directly from India.

The President of Euclid, Mr Sateesh Andra, said, "Euclid's remote management and problem resolution services, coupled with e4e's offshore technical support services, will allow IT stakeholders to view service reports, alerts, and trouble tickets, and IT compliance in real time."

Euclid is a privately held, venture-funded company with headquarters in San Jose, California and a major development centre in Hyderabad. e4e provides `best shore services' rather than offshore and its capability spans seven delivery locations across 3 continents.
