SIB(Thrissur) extends business hours

KOCHI: The Thrissur-based South Indian Bank has announced that it had introduced extended business hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at its East Fort Branch, Thrissur for the convenience of the customers.

The bank in a press release claimed that it had become the first Kerala-based bank to introduce extended business hours. Dr V.A. Joseph, Chairman and CEO said that the bank is having a technology compared to other new generation banks. At present 86 per cent of the total business is now online and the bank will be exceeding Rs 25 crore in total business in the next three years, he said and added that SIB's network of branches will shortly be extended to 22 States.

He urged the customers of the branch to utilise the extended business hours fully.
