Air Deccan daily flights to Kolkata from Oct 5

AIR Deccan on Monday announced the launch of daily flights to Kolkata from Mumbai and Bangalore starting October 5. It has deployed Airbus A320s on both the routes. Bookings will open on September 13, a release said.

As many as 500 promotional tickets priced at Re 1 (plus taxes) and 1,000 tickets priced at Rs 500 (plus taxes) have been released for the travel during the period October 5 to January 31, 2006.

Air Deccan chief, Capt. G.R. Gopinath, said, "We received enormous feedback to our Web site and to our call centre demanding connectivity from Mumbai and Bangalore to Kolkata. "We are launching these sectors before the Durga Puja celebrations."
